Computing is, at its core, an electricity business. For Bitcoin mining and AI computing alike, the cost and reliability of power shape everything else — siting, equipment choice, and margins.
Solar as a foundation
Solar panels produce electricity during daylight hours, which is exactly when many facilities run their heaviest workloads. Once installed, solar power has no fuel cost, which makes a share of the energy supply predictable for the life of the array.
Solar and the grid work together
No solar site runs on daylight alone. Battery storage and grid supply cover evenings and cloudy periods. A well-designed system blends the two: solar for volume and price stability, grid power for continuity.
What this means for a compute project
- A larger share of low-marginal-cost energy.
- Less exposure to short-term electricity price swings.
- A concrete reason to keep workloads flexible — the hybrid model.
Figures for our installed solar capacity will be published here once they are verified.
